TRACE ("TRACE", "we", "us", or "our") operates the presale marketplace at addtrace.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in we collect your email address and/or mobile phone number, which we use to authenticate you. If you create a profile, we also collect your display name, avatar, and bio.
• Marketplace activity. Listings you create, bids you place, and messages you send through the Service.
• Technical information. Basic device and usage data (such as IP address and browser type) needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To authenticate you — including sending one-time passcodes (OTPs) by email or SMS so you can sign in or verify a phone number.
• To communicate with you about your account, transactions, and support requests.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud or abuse.

SMS / text messaging

When you choose to sign in with your phone number or add a phone number to your account, we send a one-time verification code by SMS through our messaging provider (Twilio). By providing your phone number you consent to receive these account-related text messages.

• Message frequency is limited to verification codes and essential account notices — we do not send marketing texts.
• Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
• We do not sell or share your phone number, or your SMS opt-in/consent, with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile information is used only to operate the Service.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — for example Supabase (authentication and database) and Twilio (SMS delivery).
• Legal and safety reasons — to comply with the law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TRACE, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your choices and rights

• Access and update. You can view and edit your profile, email, and phone number from your account settings.
• Opt out of SMS. Reply STOP to any message, or remove your phone number in settings.
• Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above.
